Paul commanded the young evangelist Timothy to "Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching" (II Timothy 4:2). He also told the church at Ephesus that when one speaks the truth he must do so "in love" (Ephesians 4:15). It is our desire that the Preaching at Northwest always be directly from God's word and that the message presented from God's word always be presented with love. Those listed below are our ministers and they do the bulk of the preaching here at Northwest.
Garrett Bookout is the preaching minister for the Northwest church of Christ. He has worked with this congregation since October of 2014. Prior to working with Northwest he preached in Clovis, NM for 4 and a half years. He also worked as an intern minister for the Bear Valley church of Christ for 2 year. Garrett is a graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University and the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver. He married Alicia in February of 2008 and they have two kids. Emma was born in May of 2009 and Wesley was born in January of 2012.
